Alexandra Jansen is a self taught film photographer that pushes the boundaries of a classic medium with her surreal double exposure art. She captures each photo entirely on her vintage 35mm film camera and only relies on natural light. Inspired by her overwhelming feeling of nostalgic escapism while enduring cancer treatment twice in the pandemic, along with her love for big city lights and beach days - her 'Analogue Mixtapes' collection was born. A mix of living in Studio 54 era and a Beach Boys song all in one. Popular among a global audience, she is now partnered with printing studios in New York City, London, Paris, and Sydney. This unique art celebrates self expression, carefree joy, and pushing creative boundaries.
